If you would like to live in a house that will likely fall to the ground in the next 2-3 months, definitely check out Equity Corporate Housing in Kalamazoo. These homes are by far the worst I have ever visited, their is dirt on the walls and what appeared to be hair smothering the carpet. 2 for being disgusting. I recommend this place. Econo Lodge is named properly, they offer next to nothing for ease of use and comfortability, and the noise was just ridiculous, as it is located underneath a highway overpass. Dillon Hall is best of the best regarding hotels, offering the most luxurious of suites to those who have fat pocketbooks and are willing to spend more than a few Andrew Jackson's on a room for the night. Days Inn is a decent hotel, it offers the basic amenities that please the majority of customers, although their pool needed a little work and their rooms were quite noisy. I tripped down the flight of stairs leading into the BELOW GROUND complex where their apartments are, with no windows or anything. It was ridiculous, and I didn't like it. I recommend this place. 	Assisted Living Concepts Sojorner House -	November 18, 2006

Luckily, we found Assisted Living Concepts (Sojorner House), and it has been nothing but positive experiences for every one of us involved. 5 stars for a job well-done! I recommend this place. My plane landed quite late, so I had no time to find a place to sleep, so I went to this disgusting palace of cockroaches and lumpy mattresses. I got no sleep at all, and I was very disappointed since the sound of planes revving was heard all night long. 2 stars for a poor job. I do not recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Right as I walked in, I was greeted by a man of likely 60 years, and boy did he know what he was talking about. He immediately showed me a lamp that was dazzling, and I picked it up for the steal of $70. I was sad to leave, but I will surely return in due time! The pizza was astonishing, Margarita Cheese encrusted with jalapenos and cajun crusts, seasoned with the best and served extra crisp, just the way I like it. $7.99 for a personal size one-topping pizza, dine-in only! We headed over to Allstate Food Equipment and were amazed at what they had to offer. Their selection was astounding, and the prices (according to him) were thousands below retail value, or what the "Golden Locks" Corporation would have charged him for a new machine. I simply had a bowl of chili fries and they managed to forget the chili and smother the fries in cheese, which I am sadly allergic to (Dairy!). Displeasured, I simply walked out of the restaurant, but not before they twice begged me to stay, eagerly throwing free meal vouchers at me as I briskly walked out the door. The pillows were lumpy, the bed rock-solid, and the toilet was not large enough even for a three-year-old. 1 star for a job hardly attempted, hopefully these guys can clean themselves up in the next few years or they surely will not be here. While attending this restaurant I witnessed two people vomit, overpaying for food, and the luxury of finding what seemed to be a human hair in my chili fries. 	Van's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning -	November 14, 2006

This was a problem, and once I was cured, I needed someone to clean up the mess before my significant other arrived from New York. Van's was there and they completed the job in under 2 hours for less than what I make in a day. It has many similarities to 7-11, except that it sells hard liquor and its organization is much more enhanced. I needed a liter of orange juice and I found it immediately staring at me across the store. Within 30 seconds, I was out the door and sucking down Vitamin C and Citric Acid along with many other essential nutrients and minerals. If you need general items, Drake's Party is the place to be! The wireless internet access throughout the hotel was a plus, as was the pool, but the room service was lax and the beds were just the same. I did not sleep very well that night, perhaps because every room near the pool smells of chlorine, which is not a pleasant smell to my nose. If you are lacking the money or willpower to invest in a hotel such as the Holiday Inn, then the Hampton Inn is the place to be. You will get the majority of the luxuries that the Holiday has to offer, with the exception of continental breakfast and good smells! I recommend this place. Was this review helpful? Their bowling balls are cleaned to perfection, leaving no residue on your hands after any amount of time, dissimilar from most other bowling alleys. Also, their shoes were a bit worn, but they were all the more comfortable. If you enjoy bowling in a clean, safe environment, Continental Lanes is the place for you to be. I recommend this place. I consumed an acute selection of Kung Pow chicken along with my customary white rice with loads of soy sauce. The price was right and I walked out with a filled stomach and wallet. I recommended this place to my older brother and he plans on holding his wedding reception in the same exact restaurant. With over twenty well-waxed lanes and brand new shiny bowling shoes, there is no way that you could not enjoy this family-oriented alley. Food and drinks are also available, but how can one take the time to consume beverages and sustenance whilst engulfed in a world of rolling balls and flying pins. I personally had Szechuan shrimp with a side of white rice and soy sauce, and I do not regret it in the least. The food had a spice to it that made my whole body tingle, although I had only dropped $5.00 for the fine food. The beds were uncomfortable and lumpy and the television was nowhere to be found. I tried to connect my laptop to their internet, until I realized that they did not provide internet to their guests. When my apartment flooded with the rain the past few months, I knew that I needed some professional help in order to get things back on track. $300 and five hours later, Servpro had completely restored by apartment to its original condition, even offering to replace portions of the wallpaper that they had been unable to remove the water from. We entered the welcoming atmosphere at approximately 5:00PM, and we were able to leave by 6:30PM, which is quite fast for such a professional restaurant. The food was wonderful, we both had the Szechuan Shrimp with a side of carrots and white rice. Stomachs full, we paid our customary 20% tip and left happy. I recommend this place. 	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Months ago before I lived in Kalamazoo, I had the opportunity to attend at aviation conference at the museum downtown. Sadly, I knew no one in the area at the time, and I was offered to stay in the "best of rooms." Namely, this meant the Kalamazoo Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites. I was roomed with a single king-size bed, and the night went by without a hitch. I dozed off to sleep without any distractions, the walls were very adequate at dampening noises. Although I did not take the opportunity to go for a swim in their enormous in-ground pool, I did pop into the hot tub for a few moments and it was all that I could have expected. Overall, this was a VERY positive hotel experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to receive the best possible treatment Kalamazoo has to offer. I recommend this place. 	1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. The Super-8 motel of Kalamazoo is a hotel for students and young adults who perhaps do not have the money to stay in such places as a Holiday Inn. With a nice low room-rate, my friend and I were able to bunk up in adjacent double beds and enjoy a nice swim in the below-ground heated pool, along with doze off to sleep whilst watching the premium movie channels included on the 27-inch TV on the oak pedestal at the foot of the room. In the morning, we checked out by noon (or else we would have to pay double!) and everything went by smoothly. Firstly, we walked into the theatre and were not greeted but were simply asked if we planned on purchasing tickets or just standing there. Reluctantly, I wasted twenty dollars of hard-earned cash on two movie tickets, and no sooner were we seated in the most uncomfortable seats imaginable. Straight-backed and unreclinable, I could do nothing but sit there and wait until the end of the film. Leaving, I will admit that the same man who urged us to purchase tickets earlier gave us a hearty smile and encouraged us to "return soon." I am not so certain that this man will be seeing us again. 	Kalamazoo Aviation History Museum -	November 13, 2006

Myself, I dress in American Eagle and Eddie Bauer, or more contemporary than Hot Topic. However, if your style is darker clothing, perhaps adorning chains or multiple piercings, Hot Topic is most definitely the store for you to shop.
