The Kalamazoo Nature Center is kind of out of the way but its definitely worth the gas and time. The Nature Center offers a lot of opportunities for the public to become involved and be educated about the environment.
They have a wonderful summer camp program for children. If you like to hike, they have tons of hiking trails that are open year round.
I recommend this place.
